Got me a new mount
5 May, 20095 May, 2009 2 comments Uncategorized Uncategorized

Just bought a new Celestron CGEM mount at NEAF.

Even managed to play with it under clear skies.  WOW

SOOOOOOO much better than the old ASGT

I can now even do 5+ minute subs while imaging.  Trouble is, at that exposure all I collect is LIGHT POLUTION.  I just cannot win.

Hey at least I now have a thinner wallet and can maintain proper buttock symmetry as a result.

Congrats on the new mount. I wanted to go to NEAF. From the pictures I've seen at CloudyNights, it looks to have been a very drool-inducing good time. I read that people have good deals available at the show.
