The biggest attraction of the Celestron booth at CES 2009 was undoubtedly the new CGE Pro Series Computerized Telescopes. Massive and magnificent CGE Pro 1400 was stopping traffic and creating a gridlock on the showroom floor.
Here is my interview with Celestron's VP of Sales, about this engineering marvel...
As promised in my previous video entry, here is my interview with Michelle Messkill, Celestron's Marketing Supervisor about the new Ambassador Series Brass Telescopes.
The Ambassador Brass Refractor Telescope is an ideal decorative showpiece for the home, office, or anywhere you may want to incorporate its vintage style. Featuring a classic Altazimuth Mount and beautiful mahogany wood tripod, the Ambassador telescope is designed especially for terrestrial observing but is also capable of casual astronomical observing.
Here is the first one of my CES video reports. In this one I give a (not so) brief overview of our booth and some of the new products. Enjoy!
Hello Everyone,
We have posted the first pictures from the CES on Flickr. There you can check out the pictures of our new CGE Pros, Ambassadors and Microscope lineup.
The first day of the show was very busy with lots of traffic through our booth. Our recently unveiled CGE PRO series computerized telescopes have attracted tremendous attention. Indeed, one can't simply walk past the 14" engineering marvel we have set up here at the show. However, the real appreciation of this scope begins when we start talking about the all the new tech packed into this scope like All-Star Polar Alignment Technology, tracking accuracy, increased payload, "wisper-quiet" motors and fast slew speeds. Today, we are planning to shoot a quick video inverview with one of Celestron's staff talking about this exiting new product.
The Ambassador series have also sparked lots of questions. These are gourgeous brass telescopes with mahogany tripods. In addition to being an ultimate showroom piece, the Ambassador 50 and 80 are fully functional telescopes fit for terrestrial and casual astronomical observation. We have interviewed Celestron's Marketing Supervisor (aka AstronomyAngel) about this product and are planning to post a video later today.
Tomorrow, we are planning a outing LVCC to see checkout the other cool CES exhibitors. I will be taking lots of pics and uploading them to Flick.
Stay tuned for more...
