The 9th annual AstroDay will be taking place on Saturday, May 1, 2010 on Hawaii's Big Island at the Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo. Each year, thousands of people gather at this indoor shopping mall to learn about astronomy, science, Hawaiian Island Culture and more through interactive displays, exhibits, demonstrations and entertainment. AstroDay is aimed at "Bringing Astronomy to the People" and is one of the most successful Astronomy Day events in the world.
