BTW if I change it, I think I want to change it for a celestron astromaster 76 eq
also should I get any accesories?
Accessories depend upon your desires for the use of the scope. What did it come with? If it doesn't have one, my first choice would be a good Barlow lens. This would let you basically double the apparant focal length of the scope which effectively gives each eyepiece double duty with 2 levels of magnification while maintaining the longer eye relief that most lesser expensive longer focal length eyepieces have. This will be a lot of help in viewing planets. Next I would look at at least one wide field premium eyepiece for lower power viewing of nebula, etc. If you go much beyond this in the hobby, you would probably be investing in a differnt scope, or at least the mounting. A motorized mount is definitely necessary for any decent astrophotography. Alt-Az is OK for planets, but an equitorial is required for long exposure times like emmission nebula. The 70mm aperature you described really limits you in deep-sky work.
Really, just go with the flow of where your heart and interests lead you. Suscribe to a good magazine, (i.e., Sky and Telescope, Astronomy) and check out some good books. Let yourself grow in the hobby. You'll soon be able to figure out your needs on your own.
Good Luck,
