G'day all,

I just got into my new Astromaster 70AZ, and noticed there is a big "something", dust or lint, behind my objective lens. First i thought it may have been ON the lens so i tried the can of compressed air, but this has only confirmed it is on the Lens from inside the scope. I have yet to use the scope, and since it is right near the middle of the lens, should I take it back for exchange scope, or try and send it for repair? ( is this possible here in Australia?) this is a new scope, have only just unwrapped it....

Anyway, I appreciate any input.

on a side not this astronomy thing is kinda addictive, and kinda cool, there is so much to know and learn, I am enjoying it :)

Thanks

Jeremy

Hi there JezC!

I believe every product has a guarantee/warranty.

And since you have an item which you think has a factory defect, then it would be wise to return it to the seller.

Just prepare your receipt/proof of purchase and show it to your merchant.

If you bought it online, you may want to send them an email or drop them a call first.. of course prepare your order ID or something like that.. ;)
