    I remember reading your article in S&T about this-very nice! Too bad Meade self imploded and stopped making this scope-I had plans of buying this one or the 16" but now I'm lookin to Plane-Wave or Celestron.

Description: I built this roll-off-roof observatory in New Hampshire in the year 2000. It's a 2-hour drive from my home just north of Boston. When the sky is clear and moonless, the naked-eye limiting magnitude is about 6, so my 14-inch telescope gives spectacular views of deep-sky objects.
